ACC Book Award
The American Ceramic Circle has created an award to recognize a publication that makes a major contribution to the field of ceramics. Known as The American Ceramic Circle Book Award for 2005 (and so on), it will be granted annually to a book or exhibition catalog on ceramics that either advances scholarship or that will become a standard reference in the field.
Any book written in English on any aspect of the field of ceramics may be considered. The award will be granted by a subcommittee of the ACC Board who will review nominations and choose a winner to be presented to the Board for approval. The award carries a small honorarium. Nominations will be solicited primarily from Board members, but are welcome from authors, publishers, and general members.
